The fall air was crisp on the morning of Karen & Sam’s wedding, and the fallen leaves added a beautiful burst of yellow. It was a brisk 40 degrees, but the sun popped out and added a bit of warmth. Karen & Sam exchanged letters before the ceremony by the ballroom. They didn’t want to see each other until the actual ceremony, so they just wrapped their arms around the corner to share their notes. There were sweet tears of joy. And those tears of joy continued into the ceremony as Sam couldn’t hold them in. His bride was stunning. They stood face to face under the afternoon sun, exchanged personally written vows, rings, and finally their first kiss as husband and wife. The celebrations continued into the ballroom for dinner and dancing. Karen & Sam kept getting lost in their own little bubble on the dance floor and it may have been one of my favorite things to photograph that whole day. So so happy for you two!!
