A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
On any typical day, you will find me either outside or close to a window — I am drawn to the sunlight, it seriously makes me smile. Hiking, fishing, and frolicking in the garden are my go-to’s, I would eat pizza every day of the week if it were healthy, and quality time with those I love is something I absolutely treasure. I am 10 years married to my favorite person and love of my life, Caleb. Loving life in good ‘ol PA, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. God is SO GOOD.
My goal as your photographer is to document what you feel with your someone versus just getting the ‘perfect pose’. I take a more photojournalistic approach by capturing things as they naturally happen & giving direction that brings out the natural way you move with your someone & the sweet moments you share — the smile they make you smile when they pull you close, that warm embrace that makes you feel safe, the kiss on the forehead that makes you feel cherished — all of those good feelings that tell your story best.
One of the most important parts of photographing a wedding is knowing where to be and when. It's anticipating the big moments and the in between. It's observing the environments throughout the day, as well as the beautiful faces inside of them. It's knowing when to stand back and observe and when to step in and direct. I like to stay out of the way as much as possible and capture things as they naturally happen but will step in and direct where needed. When I take this approach, I'm best to capture those unique personalities and the true emotions that make your wedding day the one-of-a-kind that it is.

The dress is photo worthy, the flowers, the centerpieces, the suits, the jewelry, the shoes, the decor, the family and bridal party portraits. I make it a point to capture all of that, to help you remember all of those beautiful little details and the faces of those you love. But above all, I believe that remembering what you felt that day is so much more valuable. I'm all about highlighting those heartfelt moments — the laughs, the tears, the embraces, the smiles — all of those GOOD feelings.
