Megan & Levi | Backyard Farm Wedding | Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer
Boy, do I LOVE a backyard wedding! All setup and preparation was done at the bride's childhood home, on the family farm. The cows roamed uphill in the pasture, as the horses meandered downhill. All decorations were put together and hung by the bride and groom's families; seasonal chrysanthemums, mini pumpkin checkers, handmade signs, and beautiful sunflowers. All food was made by the groom's sister! And all the love was evident as the day unfolded.
It was a small gathering, but nothing short of awe-inspiring. Levi's anticipation was so sweet to see as he waited for his bride to make her way. It was a joy watching their smiles as they said “I do”. All the hugs from family and friends followed and celebrations began.
For some husband and wife moments, we walked to one of their favorite local spots. We walked by the cornfield, up the hill through the trees, to a beautiful hilltop vantage point; one where Megan liked to watch the sunrise. They smiled, laughed and held each other close, taking in those special beginning moments as husband and wife. Back to the tent, they gathered together and celebrated with their family and friends. Megan's Dad led the prayer for mealtime and her brother serenaded all with his musical talents. Friends gave personalized gifts, and all lifted them up in love. I'm so thankful to have been able to celebrate with you Megan and Levi! Prayers for a beautiful lifetime together!
